University Health System offers genetics and genetics counseling for children and families in Las Vegas. Our pediatricians can diagnose a child or teen with genetic disorders like birth defects, mental retardation, connective tissue disorders and metabolic disorders.
Families considering a pregnancy or currently expecting with a family history of birth defects, who have had two or more miscarriages or want prenatal tests should contact our pediatric geneticists. A child born with a birth defect, learning disability or not growing normally should also contact University Health System.
