Dr. Steven Glyman graduated magna cum laude with a bachelors in biology at UCLA. He attended Northwestern University in Chicago for an internship in rehabilitative medicine. He later attended the University of California Irvine to complete an internship in internal medicine. He completed a three-year residency at Wadsworth VA Hospital; in the last year of the program, Dr. Glyman was chief resident.
He continued with fellowship training at Rancho Los Amigos Hospital. Dr. Glyman is a diplomat of the American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry and a charter member of the American Society of Neuro-Rehabilitation. He is currently medical advisor for the Nevada Neuroscience Foundation, medical advisor for ALS of Nevada, and a clinical advisory committee member of the Desert Southwest Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
His interests include treating multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's disease. He has developed a strong clinical research program at the School of Medicine and as principal investigator collaborates in numerous clinical drug trials to treat multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, restless leg syndrome, migraine headaches, neuropathy and pain.
