Dr. Diane Chau's interests are preventing functional decline, preserving independence and improving quality of life for seniors through her clinical, educational and research efforts in Reno.
Dr. Chau was board certified in internal medicine in 1997 and continued to pursue additional two years of fellowship training to achieve board certifications in geriatric medicine, hospice and palliative medicine.
She is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and active with the American Geriatrics Society. She serves on the board of directors of the California Geriatric Society and has received awards for geriatrics from the American Medical Directors Association, Health Resources and Services Administration and John A. Hartford Foundation.
She has given numerous clinical geriatrics related presentations and has written several peer-reviewed articles.
