Dr. Ruben Acherman completed a pediatric cardiology fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, as well as a fellowship in neonatology at the University of Southern California.
Before joining the Children's Heart Center in March 2002, Dr. Acherman spent eight years on the faculty of Children's Hospital Los Angeles where he served as director of fetal cardiology. He is board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology.
Dr. Acherman is a native of Colombia. He speaks fluent Spanish.
