Dr. Abdussalam Alburki completed his undergraduate and medical school training at Al-Fateh University, the largest and considered the most important institute of higher education in Libya.
He later conducted post-doctoral research in the cardiology department at the University of Texas, Houston on heart failure. He completed his medical internship at Albany Medical Center.
Dr. Alburki was chief resident during his internal medicine residency at the University of Nevada School of Medicine. After completing residency training, he joined the medical school's faculty in hospitalist medicine.
Dr. Alburki is board-certified in internal medicine and a member of the American College of Physicians.
