Dr. John Peacock is professor and chief of the neurology division at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Reno. He is also chief of the neurology section at the Reno VA Medical Center.
Dr. Peacock entered the uniformed services with an assignment to the U.S. Public Health Services at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland for three years. He later resumed his neurology residency training at Stanford and subsequently joined the university's neurology faculty.
Dr. Peacock is board certified neurologist with subspecialty certificates in spinal cord injury medicine and vascular neurology.
He has basic research and clinical interests in Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease.
