Dr. Claude Lardinois is professor of medicine in the endocrinology division at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Reno. He is also a member of the graduate faculty at the University of Nevada, Reno Nevada Studies in Nutrition program.

Dr. Lardinois is emeritus faculty advisor for the Western Medical Student Research Forum. He is board certified in internal medicine, endocrinology and geriatrics. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and American College of Nutrition.

Dr. Lardinois' research interests include diabetes, hypertension and dyslipidemia. He is especially interested in the role of nutrition in diabetes care.

He serves on the board of directors of the American College of Nutrition and is associate editor of the Journal of the American College of Nutrition.
