Dr. Scott Hall, M.D. joined the University of Nevada School of Medicine family medicine department in Reno as an assistant professor and director of sports medicine in May 2007. Boasting an impressive academic background, Dr. Hall joined the faculty as the only primary care sports medicine specialist in Northern Nevada.
Before joining the school, Dr. Hall served as a family physician with Renown Health Systems in Reno. From 2005 to 2006, he served as the house officer for two hospitals in Cleveland while completing his fellowship in sports medicine in Columbus.
Dr. Hall has a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Sports Medicine and has been published in several academic publications. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians as well as the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine.
He has wide experience serving as a physician for many professional, academic and independent sports teams as well as athletic events and currently serves as a team physician for Damonte Ranch High School in Reno.
