Dr. Evan Klass completed training in internal medicine in 1980 and served a fourth year as chief resident in medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He later trained in endocrinology and metabolism with Kenneth Becker, MD, PhD, at George Washington University Medical Center.
He has been in active practice in endocrinology for 26 years. Dr. Klass was president of Endocrinology and Diabetes Associates of Long Island, PC and for the past four years was co-chief of the endocrinology division at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System in New York.
Dr. Klass has extensive experience in all aspects of endocrinology with particular interest in pituitary disease, thyroid cancer and insulin pump therapy for type 1 diabetes.
