Dr. William Graettinger, MD is professor and vice chair of the University of Nevada School of Medicine Department of Internal Medicine in Reno. He is also chief of the cardiology division and the cardiology section at the VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System.
Dr. Graettinger is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and in the first of a three year term as governor for Nevada chapter of the college. Dr. Graettinger is also a fellow of the American College of Physicians and American College of Chest Physicians.
Dr. Graettinger currently conducts research on heart failure, hypertension and cardiac structure and function. He has a hospital based practice and sees patients at the VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System.
Clinical and research interests include cardiovascular disease, heart failure, hypertension and atrial fibrillation.
