It's easy to understand why anyone would feel that medicine is Dr. Brian Passalacqua's calling--as a fourth year medical student he helped deliver nearly 50 babies at the University of Southern California.
Dr. Passalacqua is a primary care family physician in Reno. He practiced obstetrics for several years with a multispecialty practice followed by several more years with a single specialty family practice group. More recent positions include working in an office with an electronic medical record and part-time in a rural Nevada emergency room.
Dr. Passalacqua has come full circle after 14 years in private practice and returned to the University of Nevada School of Medicine Department of Family and Community Medicine seeing patients and continuing to deliver (more) babies.
He grew up in Healdsburg, California, in the heart of wine country, Sonoma County.
