Dr. Beverly Neyland practiced pediatrics in Las Vegas for 20 years before joining the University of Nevada School of Medicine as full-time faculty.
She has served as chief of pediatrics at University Medical Center and Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas.
Dr. Neyland is president of the Nevada Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She supervises residents at Kids Healthcare, University Medical Center, Sunrise Children's Hospital Nursery and the Lied Outpatient Pediatric Clinic, where she is director of Reach Out and Read.
She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatricians.
In 2006 Neyland received honorable mention as one of the "top doctors" in Las Vegas Life.
In 2007 Nevada Governor Jim Gibbons appointed Dr. Neyland as one of three temporary members to the state’s Board of Medical Examiners in response to the hepatitis outbreak scare in Las Vegas.
