The University of Nevada School of Medicine is a research-intensive, community-based medical school. As the only public medical school in the state, it has served Nevada for more than 40 years.
From world-class basic science research, to an innovative curriculum that integrates the basic and clinical sciences throughout the four years, to a statewide network of clinical facilities in Reno, Las Vegas and rural communities, its mission is to improve health and health care for all Nevadans.
Through targeted clinical and research growth and investment, the school will become a resource to improve health care throughout its region and across the country.
